This is one of our first Gesha varietals in a while, and it’s truly something special.
If you're not familiar with Geshas, they are considered to be the pinnacle of specialty coffee. Originally from the Gori Gesha forests of Ethiopia, this Arabica variety is most commonly grown in the Americas. Known for its striking, complex fruit and floral notes, Geshas offer a unique sensory experience with every sip.
This particular washed Gesha comes from Roger Dominguez, a young, innovative farmer in Marcala, Honduras. Roger inherited his father’s midsize farms in the renowned La Paz region—famous for its high altitudes (above 1,300 meters) and cool climate, which allows coffees grown here to ripen slowly, developing incredibly rich sugar profiles.
This coffee has more body and sweetness than a typical Gesha, with a rich chocolate base complemented by bright citrus and floral accents. Think chocolate truffles and clementines—soft and sweet, yet vibrant. It's a treat for your tastebuds and a true standout!
