Notes of Apple Cider and Orange.
This Colombian lot is from the Proyecto Renacer farm meaning, “to be re-born”. Located on the outskirts of Medellin, this area has a long and devastating history of conflict and violence. Coffee producers, Christian and Jhonatan, have used specialty coffee as a tool to help rebuild the community and empower local youth to learn the rewards of hard work, dedication, and innovation. This growth is helping promote tourism, and has provided a much more prosperous way of life for people in the community.
The name, Red Bomb, comes from the coffees red round fruity taste! It’s a washed coffee that magically tastes like a natural. Christian created this unique processing method by allowing the cherries to ferment in open tanks for 120 hours, then once depulped, they are left to ferment for another 50 hours before finally being washed.
Special Special denotes a small lot of extra special coffees either by rarity, variety, or processing.
