Expect notes of Maple and Chocolate.Finca Santa Cruz is owned by Pepé Arguello who also oversees the La Concordia Cooperative that we purchase coffee from. Pepé is quickly gaining national recognition as 1st place Cup of Excellence winner two years running. He’s young, he’s passionate and he’s building quite the coffee community in Chiapas. We’re proud to work with him and always love his coffees. Enjoy this rare and exquisite coffee - an Ethiopian heirloom variety grown in Mexico. We know it’s expensive, but his work is worth it and all this coffee does is win, win, win. Lucky you, you got a bag of Pepé’s champagne of coffee.
Available in 12oz bags.
Special Special denotes a small lot of extra special coffees either by rarity, variety, or processing.
Gesha vs Geisha???? Essentially there is no wrong answer here. We are going with Geisha this round and here is why. The Gesha spelling/usage is based on the original Ethiopian variety and location. "Geisha" was used by the Peterson family in Panama who were the first to import and market the variety in central/south america. They intentionally used it to differentiate for the Americas. Pepé and Red Fox (our import partner) use "geisha" and we will go with their preference.
