Why the name Dogwood? Is it because you like dogs? Does that even have anything to do with dogs?
Dogwood is a type of shrub or tree. There's several different types native to Minnesota that have interesting and varied seasonal beauty. Anyway, they’re cool & pretty, we’re cool & pretty. You know.
It isn’t because we love dogs, but for the record, we do love dogs. Like, a lot. Probably too much. Dogs dogs dogs.
When will my coffee get roasted? Is it fresh??We roast for online orders Monday-Thursday, and Friday if it works with what we are roasting. Everything is roasted to order, which means we don't keep roasted inventory here and your coffee gets to you as fresh as possible. We take roasting, like, pretty seriously.
When will my coffee ship?
If you place your order before 9 AM Monday-Thursday, your order will get roasted that day and shipped out that afternoon or the next day. If it is after 9AM, we will roast your order the following day and ship then or the day after that. If you place an order after 9AM on a Friday, your coffee will be roasted and shipped the following Monday.
I live in the area, can I pick my coffee up and not pay for shipping?
Yep! Before you checkout, you can select “Shipping” or “Warehouse Pickup” in your cart. Pick a date and time you want to come to our Northeast Minneapolis Roastery and we’ll have it ready for you. We’ll always email you if anything comes up.
**This is a newer feature we are testing out so if you have any issues, please let us know!**
Our roastery is located at 1209 Tyler Street NE, Suite 150. We are just northeast of the corner of Central and Broadway. Our main door is around the back.
Hours for local pick-up are:

Friday - 9am to 4pm
**Our roastery is closed most national holidays. We try our best to update the open pickup dates accordingly, but mistakes can happen. Feel free to call us at 612-202-8986 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to see if we're around.**
