- MORE INFO
This cup is very complex with flavors of Watermelon, Strawberry and Apple.
Although 2018 is only Fausto’s second harvest of coffee, he’s off to a great start! Fausto submitted this lot to the prestigious Taza Dorado “Golden Cup”, Ecuador’s national coffee competition, and he won 9th place. Originating as a cattle farmer, Fausto started his coffee crop with both seed and encouragement from his uncle Olmedo, a local coffee pioneer who shortly thereafter passed away. Fausto knows he would've made his uncle proud with the coffee he’s now producing. The seeds he’s growing are a mix of Gesha, Bourbon and Sidra, grown at 1300 masl. His farm is named Finca Carolina and is located in the Pichincha region in north central Ecuador. There’s not much of this special competition lot, so enjoy it while you can!
